So, in 2006, right before the Old Gruene Bridge on Rock Road over the Guadalupe River right next to Bubbas Big Deck was torn down, Gypsy Choirmaster called me. It was the day after Thanksgiving and apparently he and some other Gypsy's had been thinking (don't go there) about taking a group photo on the bridge. Choirmaster wanted to know, if he took care of all the arrangements, would I take the photograph. Hhhhhmmmm... sure, what could happen! So that following Sunday, we made it happen! I didn't think about how, so when I got there, I took a stool out of Bubbas Big Deck and stood on it in the middle of the dry river bed behind the cofferdam that had been setup for construction. I mean I literally stood on a wobbly old bar stool and took multiple photographs as I panned along the group of bikers that had shown up. After the shoot, I only had one problem - I had NO IDEA how to assemble multiple photographs into a single panoramic image! So I spent the next 2 weeks evaluating software trying to figure out if it was even possible! Whew! It was! I found this software called Panorama Studio. Wow! All I have to say is - thank you! Because from that one effort, here are the results!
