ABOUT RedMartian Event Photography (RMP) - Our Primary Gallery. This replaced the name I had used for 20 years: "Sunshine Preservation" (photography preserves light - get it?). Billie Kay convinced me that I could come up with something better (told me it was a sissy name). So, I came up with "RedMartian". Why "RedMartian"? Well, I had to call it something, and "Photos by Scott" just ain't my style! Actually - she's a Redhead and I'm from Mars - I mean - I like Marvin the Martian.
ABOUT Canyon Lake Area Photography (CLP) - Our Local Photography. If an event occurs around the lake, look for the photos here! This came into existence when I started taking photos for our kids at school, and then for local Chamber of Commerce events. The "RedMartian" theme just didn't seem quite as appropriate.
ABOUT The Special Occasion (TSO) - Our Formal Photography and Specialty Cake Baking. Billie Kay was already using this name (and Just As You Wish) for her cake baking; so I just usurped it for the wedding photography as well!

ABOUT Planetary Collections - I have always wanted my Clients to have the capability of creating their own set of images from my photography. With this new Image Service, I got more than that simple ability. Not only can You, our Clients, assemble temporary sets of Favorite Photographs from our many Galleries and Albums, but you can ask us to make those temporary sets more enduring by converting them to Photograph Collections! I picked the name "Planetary Collections" just to stick with the Mars-is-a-Planet theme.
ABOUT Mars Remembers - I have been taking photographs for so many years that I have photographs of many friends and clients that have passed on. I have been asked so many times to gather photographs of someone, that I thought I should keep those that I found assembled for others to see. As I find images they will be added; and unfortunately, so will new albums. If you find images I have that are not posted, please Share them to me.
ABOUT The Martian Arts - Original Creations of Art. Mainly Bound Items (Albums, Books, etc), Large Items (Posters) and Wide Items (Panoramas).
ABOUT Inner Space - Our Personal Photography of Family and Friends. A Protected Gallery that requires Password Entry.
ABOUT THIS WEBSITE - We changed our Image Hosting Services from PhotoReflect and Fotki to Zenfolio in Oct 2010. Because of that, some of our current Galleries are not sub-divided and some Albums & Images do not show edits! We are uploading images beginning with our most recent events and moving backwards. Since we have THOUSANDS of images spanning several years, this may take awhile. Before this new website, RMP, CLP & TSO were all separate entities with separate sites - it was a hassle! So they are all combined here; eventually they will each have a different "Look and Feel". Photographs posted to those original sites will remain available using these links: RedMartianPhoto, CanyonLakePhoto, TheSpecialOccasion.
ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPHER(S) - My name is Scott Mozisek, family calls me Scottie, friends call me Cuzzin It, clients end up calling me It, Cuz, Red or Martian, but I will usually respond to "Hey @$$#0|3". By the way, it's pronounced MOWS-a-sheck - no I'm not a Polack - it's Bohemian. My fiancee Billie Kay, and our kids Adam & Raina, often help with the photography.
ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPHY - I have been taking photoes since 1975, when I got my first Canon AE-1 (thanks Allen!). Photography has grown to be an avocation: less than a career, more than a hobby. Thank goodness I have a real job to pay for this - cause it ain't a money maker! I have the luxury of picking and choosing jobs I want to do, but then I get behind by doing too many. So please bear with me when you order images. The biggest reason we decided to change Image Hosting Services in 10/10 was to make the hosting-ordering-delivering process easier on you and me.
